Symphony Of The Americas Is Coming To Miami Lakes

Miami Lakes, FL -The Town of Miami Lakes and its Cultural Affairs Committee (CAC) invite the community to attend Summerfest 2017, for an evening of classical music beginning at 7:30 pm on August 12th at the Miami Lakes United Methodist Church, 14800 NW 67th Avenue.

Each year, the Symphony’s Summerfest hosts an international acclaimed foreign chamber as well as select Symphony of the Americas musicians for a tour of concerts. Celebrating their 26th anniversary, the concert will include composition from Italian composer/pianist Lorenzo Turchi-Flores as well as Swiss guitarist Alessio Nebiolo, violinist Valentin Mansurov of Uzbekistan, and Mexican violinist, David Pedraza.

Led by Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese, Summerfest is the longest running musical festival in all of Florida, as well as being one of the highest rating cultural projects- and we’re bringing it right to you! More than ten different countries will be showcased in Summerfest, including the Gewandhaus Orchester of Germany, Austria’s Arpeggione Chamber Orchestra, Mission Chamber Orchestra of Rome, Orchestra Symphonique du Mont Blanc (France), Hungarian Virtuosi, and others.
