243px-All-America City LogoTown Manager Alex Rey declared a State of Emergency for the Town of Miami Lakes pursuant to Florida Statutes §252.38. Pursuant to this Declaration, further orders may be issued to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the Town. The Declaration of Emergency gives the Town Manager access to resources that may be necessary during and after Hurricane Irma.

Declaration of Emergency

Miami Lakes, FL - Town Manager Alex Rey declared a State of Emergency for the Town of Miami Lakes pursuant to Florida Statutes §252.38.  Pursuant to this Declaration, further orders may be issued to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the Town. The Declaration of Emergency gives the Town Manager access to resources that may be necessary during and after Hurricane Irma. 

Until further notice, all Town facilities, programs, and events are closed/cancelled.

Residents are urged to continue monitoring the storm and complete their personal hurricane preparations. Tropical storm force winds could begin to impact south Florida by Saturday morning. Please stay tuned to radio and television broadcasts for further details of the storm movement.
