243px-All-America City LogoThe Town is pleased to announce that Assistant Town Manager Andrea Agha, recently received the International City/County Management Association (ICMA)’s Credentialed Manager Candidate designation. She will become an ICMA Credentialed Manager in November 2018. Ms. Agha is one of over 1,400 local government management professionals who participated in the ICMA Voluntary Credentialing Program. To be credentialed by ICMA, a member must have significant experience as a senior management executive in local government, have earned a degree, preferably in public administration or a related field, and demonstrated a commitment to high standards of integrity and to lifelong learning and professional development.

Assistant Town Manager Receives ICMA Designation

Miami Lakes, FL -The Town is pleased to announce that Assistant Town Manager Andrea Agha, recently received the International City/County Management Association (ICMA)’s Credentialed Manager Candidate designation. She will become an ICMA Credentialed Manager in November 2018.

Ms. Agha is one of over 1,400 local government management professionals who participated in the ICMA Voluntary Credentialing Program. To be credentialed by ICMA, a member must have significant experience as a senior management executive in local government, have earned a degree, preferably in public administration or a related field, and demonstrated a commitment to high standards of integrity and to lifelong learning and professional development. The Credentialing Program is based on the ICMA Practices for Effective Local Government Leadership.

“As both an administrator and resident, I am committed to providing excellent service to our community,” said Ms. Agha.

With over twelve years of private and public-sector government experience, Ms. Agha was also recently elected Vice President of the Miami-Dade City & County Management Association. With a diverse background, having overseen several of the Town’s departments, Ms. Agha was promoted in 2014 to Assistant Town Manager. In this position, she has lead the charge in developing the Town’s 10-year Strategic Plan which focuses on improving mobility, enhancing the Town’s signature beauty and economic development while implementing strategies to improve transparency and quality of life.
