The Town of Miami Lakes and its Youth Center Council invite Miami Lakes teens to participate in the Feeding South Florida Community Service Project.
- Date: Saturday, February 17th
- Time: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Location: 2501 SW 32nd Terrace, Pembroke Park, FL 33023
- Registration Deadline: Friday, February 9th
Volunteers will meet at the Youth Center located at 6075 Miami Lakes drive at 7:00 AM. The Town Moover will transport volunteers to Feeding South Florida until 1:00 PM; lunch is provided.
Feeding America is the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief organization, comprised of 200 food banks throughout the United States. Feeding South Florida is proud to be the sole Feeding America food bank serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. Feeding South Florida is also the leading domestic hunger-relief organization in South Florida, serving 25% of Florida’s Food Insecure Population.
