Still Looking for Youth Summer Programming???

Miami Lakes, FL –Miami Lakes is ready for the Summer Fun to Begin! The Town of Miami Lakes is happy to announce it will be hosting several summer camp programming with various community partners.

YMCA SUMMER CAMP: There’s a fun-filled adventure awaiting your child at the Y this summer! Campers will participate in field trips, physical activities, theme-based activities, friendship, songs/chants, arts and crafts, nutritional lunch, and YMCA mentors.

Royal Oaks Park (16500 NW 87th Avenue)

• Dates: June 11th – August 17th
• Time: Monday through Friday 7 AM to 6 PM
• Age: 5 to 15 years old
• Cost: Plus *** One Time $50 Registration Fee***
-Traditional Camp: $124/week
-Sports Camp or Dance Camp: $160/week
-Leaders in Training: $90/week

Youth Center Park East (6075 Miami Lakes Drive East)
• Dates: June 11th – August 17th
• Time: Monday through Friday 7 AM to 6 PM
• Age: 13 to 15 years old
• Cost: $90/ Week plus *** One Time $50 Registration Fee***

CODE EXPLORERS SUMMER CAMP: Code Explorers is an award-winning, 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to teaching, motivating, and expanding participation in computer science, technology and engineering using mobile technology and learning. Their vision is to enable students of all ages to engage with and learn using mobile technology and empower them to compete in a global economy.

Kids will participate in the following classes: Internet of Things, Virtual Reality of Gaming, Coding, Computer Science, 2D/3D Game, Design, Architecture, and Manufacturing

Miami Lakes Picnic Optimist Park (6411 NW 162nd Street)
• Dates: June 11th through June 15th or June 18 through June 22nd
• Time: Monday through Friday 9 AM to 3:30 PM
• Age: 7 to 13 years old
• Cost: $259 per person/per week
• All supplies and materials are included

BRICKS 4 KIDZ CAMP: Bricks 4 Kidz is devoted to providing an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, and we play with LEGO® Bricks. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education, built around our proprietary model plans, inspired by engineers and architects. At Bricks 4 Kidz, they believe that kids learn best through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity.
