243px-All-America City LogoAfter mega success of its inaugural Food and Wine Festival in 2018, the Town of Miami Lakes recently announced the dates for the Second Annual Food and Wine Festival on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019.The event will feature fine food, wine, and specialty beer provided by local restaurants and establishments. Guests will have the opportunity to network, sample culinary delights and a selection of wines. Food and wine glasses along with demonstrations will also be held during the event.

Local Schools Recieve Top Scores 
Miami Lakes, FL – On Wednesday, June 27, 2018, the Florida Department of Education released the preliminary 2017-2018 School Performance Grades for all schools.

The Town of Miami Lakes would like to congratulate Bob Graham Education Center, Miami Lakes Middle School, and Miami Lakes Education Center for achieving an "A" rating once again; and Miami Lakes K-8 Center, Barbara Goleman Senior High School and Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School for receiving a "B." This is a result of the commitment and hard work put forth by the teachers, administration, parents and of course, the students.
