Miami Lakes, FL -The Miami Lakes Town Foundation is looking to support community groups, school clubs or teams, or other community organizations that align with the foundation’s priorities. Their mission is to encourage, foster, and conduct programs for the continuing education and literacy education of members of the community as well as to conduct and develop other programs within the community related to youth projects, beautification projects, and other cultural events for the benefit of the community and its citizens. A maximum of ten grants will be awarded of up to $1,000 each. Special consideration will be given to those applications and projects that promote kindness.
The deadline for submissions is March 10, 2020, at 5:00 pm. Community Mini-Grant applications can be found by visiting www.miamilakes-fl.gov/foundation. Applicants will receive a decision 2-3 weeks after submitting their applications.
The Miami Lakes Town Foundation is supported by the Miami Lakes Food and Wine Festival. The Miami Lakes Food and Wine Festival will take place on February 29th at Optimist Park. Tickets and additional details on the event can be found on www.mlfoodwinefest.com.
