Holiday Home Decorating Contest
Miami Lakes, FL- 'Tis the season of good cheer and lights in the name of celebrating the holiday season. The Town of Miami Lakes invites all Miami Lakes residents to participate in the Holiday Home Decorating Contest. The Holiday Home Decorating Contest is an opportunity for residents to show off their Holiday spirit and decorating skills by lighting up their Miami Lakes homes! Decorations on your home or front yard qualify, and if you live in an apartment or townhome, you are still good to go, so long as the lights are visible from the street. First, Second, and Third Place Winners will be voted to win a $150 Sureel Photography Gift Certificate.
Registration is now open for the inaugural Holiday Home Decorating Contest.
To enter, participants must be a resident of Miami Lakes and must submit a picture of their house lit in all its glory at https://bit.ly/2020HolidayHomeDecoratingContest. Registration will close on Wednesday, Dec. 16th.
The town will then provide a map of all the homes registered. Residents can then vote on their favorite display between Tuesday, Dec. 17th, and Tuesday, Dec. 22nd.
Winners will be announced on January 4th via the Town’s Social Media.
All Miami Lakes Residents are encouraged to participate to celebrate the season and our community by rewarding residents that go above-and-beyond in decorating their home for the winter holiday season.
