Miami Dade College to Offer New Programs this Semester
August 3, 2021, Miami Lakes, FL – Miami Dade College to offer new degree and scholarship programs for the fall semester, which begins August 23rd, 2021.
This semester, Miami Dade College is introducing two new degrees in the School of Health Sciences: an Associate in Sciences degree with a focus on Surgical Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science with a concentration in Medical Laboratory Sciences. High-performing high school seniors can now benefit from the Miami Dade College Presidential Scholars Program to complete an associate degree at no cost. The award covers tuition, fees, and provides a stipend. To be eligible, students must have a weighted cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Applications are due August 9, 2021. For the prospective business person, Miami Dade College will be offering degrees and certificates in entrepreneurship. Certificate courses may be taken independently of the A.S. to supplement existing business ventures.
