Communities For A Lifetime Statewide Coordinators Meet In Miami Lakes To Discuss Best Practices
Miami Lakes, FL - On Tuesday, April 9th, Mayor Michael Pizzi and Luis E. Collazo, Chair of the Elderly Affairs Committee will host the Florida Department of Elder Affairs Communities for a Lifetime Forum. The Community for Lifetime Coordinator Forum will allow for an open dialogue on best practices and facilitate the communication of updates from the Department of Elder Affairs in Tallahassee.
The Town of Miami Lakes was designated a Community for a Lifetime in 2005. “We pride ourselves in maintaining the Community for a Lifetime designation by upholding the responsibility to preserve the dignity, security and independence of all Miami Lakes residents as they age in place,” said Mayor Pizzi.
