The Cultural Affairs Committee works to establish a cultural identity in the Town. The committee plans and coordinates activities that will further the development of art, music, theatre, and other recreational activities.
The mission of the Town of Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee is to provide and promote cultural activities within the Town of Miami Lakes for the benefit and education of its citizens and those in the surrounding communities.
The Cultural Affairs Committee meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at Miami Lakes Town Hall located at 6601 Main Street in Room 106.

The Town of Miami Lakes and its Cultural Affairs Committee will host a Father’s Day Fishing Tournament.
Your family will not want to miss out on this O-FISH-ALLY AMAZING and FREE event! No experience necessary; all equipment including life jackets and fishing rods will be provided. Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission representatives will also be present to teach basic fishing techniques. Join the competition to see who wins the prize for most fish and biggest fish!
