Miami Lakes, FL - Town of Miami Lakes Mayor and Town Council celebrated the ribbon cutting and grand opening on March 5 for the new Ben & Jerry’s store, 15484 NW 77th Ct. at the Royal Oaks Plaza, in Miami Lakes.
Ben & Jerry’s feature more than 30 flavors of the chunkiest, funkiest ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbets. At the event, Mayor Wayne Slaton gave a welcoming speech and was joined by Vice Mayor Manny Cid, Councilman Ceasar Mestre, Councilman Frank Mingo, Councilman Nelson Rodriguez to help the co-owners Ivan and Marcela Kozupytsya cut the ceremonial ribbon for its grand opening celebration.
“The Town of Miami Lakes is delighted to welcome Ben & Jerry’s to our local community and wish them great success,” Mayor Wayne Slaton said.
