Miami Lakes, FL - The Town Council recently participated in the closing ceremonies for the Miami Lakes United Soccer Club in-house teams on April 10 at Royal Oaks Park in Miami Lakes. During the ceremonies, Mayor Wayne Slaton and Councilman Ceasar Mestre helped present trophies to more than 370 children who were commended for their participation.
Miami Lakes United Soccer Club is a non-profit organization, with programs that consist of recreation, academy and travel soccer with games played at Royal Oaks Park Soccer Facility, 16500 NW 87th Avenue in Miami Lakes. Their mission is to make sure the Club has a development structure which will teach and nurture youth players to acquire the correct fundamentals, understand the games tactics and strategies in preparation to attain a soccer scholarship and professional experiences.
