Miami Lakes, FL - During the previous fiscal year, the Town began tracking and reporting performance measures as part of an ongoing effort to be more accountable and transparent to the public we serve. The Town is continually working to improve delivery of services and how these services are measured and evaluated. We are pleased to report, the Third Quarter Performance Report from April-June 2015 can be viewed at www.miamilakes-fl.gov/manager.
Report highlights include:
• Police Targeted Crimes are down 59 crimes compared to last fiscal year
• Number of building inspections has increased from last fiscal year by approximately 800 inspections
• Moover ridership increased by approximately 2,047 riders compared to at the end of the third quarter of last fiscal year
• Town’s New Code Awareness Initiative is to conceal garbage and recycling containers from the public eye in order to enhance neighborhood aesthetics. So far, over 50% of the opened cases have complied.
