Miami Lakes, FL - The Town and its Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIC) will host a Community Forum at 7pm on Thursday, April 21st inside Council Chambers at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street, in Miami Lakes.
At their January meeting, Assistant Town Manager Andrea Agha provided an overall presentation of the Town’s Strategic Plan. The April meeting will focus on the first two initiatives of the Plan: Mobility and Economic Development presented
by Town Planner Brandon Schaad and Community Engagement and Outreach Director Nicole Singletary. The next quarterly meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 21st and will discuss Beautification and Sustainability.
The mission of the Town of Miami Lakes NIC is to recommend, promote, and create projects and activities that will beautify and improve all its neighborhoods in a collaborative and comprehensive manner. NIC also promotes efforts that
encourage a physically active, sustainable, and engaged community in Miami Lakes.
