Town Releases 2016 Second Quarter Performance Report

Miami Lakes, FL - As part of an ongoing effort to become the model for transparency in government, the Town of Miami Lakes recently released its Second Quarter Performance Report for January 2016 - March 2016. The entire report can be found on the Town website by visiting This report provides a narrative for individual performance areas and shares information on departmental goals and successes.

Report highlights include, statistics in Police Targeted Crimes showing the lowest crime since the Town’s incorporation. Also highlighted in the report, is the $300,000 grant awarded by the Department of Environmental Protection to the Grant Administration Department for drainage improvements in the Lake Sarah neighborhood. The Town’s social media presence continues to grow, this quarter the Town has over 1,000 new followers on Facebook; 125 on Twitter, and 61 on Instagram.
