The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics & Public Trust is reaching out to candidates, campaign workers and politically active citizens with upcoming events that are free and open to everyone.
Concerned citizens seeking “everything you ever wanted to know about government ethics but were afraid to ask,” can attend an open meeting from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017, in the Town Council Chambers at Miami Lakes Town Hall, 6601 Main Street, Miami Lakes, 33014. Ethics Commission staff will explain the agency’s work and mission, give an overview of key provisions of the Ethics Code, briefly review Sunshine and Public Records Laws, make a presentation on the Citizens’ Bill of Rights and answer audience questions.
