The Town and its Elderly Affairs Committee are offering FREE field trips for Miami Lakes residents 55 years and above. The first field trip of the Fall is scheduled for Monday, September 25th to take a tour of Marlins Stadium.
Come experience a behind-the-scenes tour of the state-of-the-art Marlins Park; home to the two-time World Series Champions the Miami Marlins. Marlins Park, completed in 2012 is a 37,000 seat, three panel retractable roof facility in the heart of Miami and deemed the jewel of Major League Baseball.
Transportation is provided to and from Mary Collins Community Center, located at 15151 NW 82nd Avenue. The bus will depart from Mary Collins at 10:30 AM; attendees are asked to arrive at 10 AM. Space is limited and reservations are required. Reservation opportunities will open one week prior to the field trip, and will remain open until all seats are filled.
