Youth Activities Task Force
The Youth Activities Task Force was created to explore the development of positive activities for the Town’s youth. The committee focuses on youth oriented events.
MEETING SCHEDULE: The Youth Activities Task Force meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m., subject to change. Meetings are held in Town Hall (6601 Main Street) in the Community Conference Room, Room 106. Special meetings are called as needed.
MEMBERSHIP: The Youth Activities Task Force shall be comprised of fourteen (14) members. There shall be a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of seven (7) high school student members, in which each member of the Town Council shall nominate and appoint two (2) individuals. The Committee also includes one (1) representative from the Miami-Dade County Police Department

- Bike Rodeo & Safety Day
- Movies at the Park
- Nightmare on Montrose Halloween Event
- Spring Fling Easter Egg Hunt
Youth Leadership Award
The Youth Activities Task Force, created to explore the development of positive activities for the Town’s youth, awards a high school senior that has made a difference in our community through community service, volunteering, and/or advocacy.
