Capital Improvement Project Manager

The Town of Miami Lakes is seeking an experienced Capital Improvement Project Manager responsible for managing all activities related to the delivery of the Town’s capital improvement program (CIP). This position manages multiple complex engineering and construction implementations and/or ongoing projects through the entire project life cycle.

Salary Range: $82,000 – $104,186

Parks and Recreation Intern

The Town of Miami Lakes Parks and Recreation student internship program provides current college/university students in the fields of parks and recreation, sports management, or leisure services with an intensive, fast-paced, quality learning experience unlike any of its kind among local parks and recreation agencies.

Accountant

The Town of Miami Lakes is accepting applications for a qualified Accountant. The Accountant performs routine accounting work involving the processing and maintenance of financial records and reports, according to the generally accepted accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the position. The position is full-time, exempt.

Salary Range: $47,562 – $68,880

Part-Time Permit Coordinator

The Town of Miami Lakes is accepting resumes for a customer service oriented Part Time Permit Coordinator. Permit Coordinators perform a variety of routine work in connection with the duty to process building permit applications submitted by contractors or homeowners. This position serves as the intermediary between residents and the Town in providing the utmost customer service during the permitting process. The position will be 20-25 hours per week.

Salary Range: $17.00 – $26.00 per hour

Part-Time Code Officer

The Town of Miami Lakes is accepting applications for a part-time Code Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing the Town Code, the Miami-Dade County Code, the Florida Building Code as specified in Chapter 162, Florida Statutes. The position is contracted and will require eight (8) hour work shifts per day.

Salary Range: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
