The Town of Miami Lakes encourages all residents to sign up for Alert Miami Lakes, our mass notification system. Blasting Concerns

In 2021, the State Fire Marshal created a website to promote transparency and accountability with respect to enforcement actions against construction materials mining activity that does not comply with Florida law. This website allows you to submit complaints regarding non-compliant construction materials mining activity, and view the status of complaints submitted to the Division of State Fire Marshal regarding construction materials mining activity occurring in Miami-Dade County.

Imagine Miami Lakes 2025

As Miami Lakes continues to “Grow Beautifully,” it is essential for the Town to address aging infrastructure in the short and long term. In the upcoming years, the Town will focus on improving its infrastructure, including sidewalks, street lighting, street maintenance, and parks. Special Needs Safety Program

To better serve those with special needs in the community, the Town of Miami Lakes has launched the Special Needs Safety Program. The program is voluntary and open to all Miami Lakes residents with special needs due to mental or neurological disabilities.
