Best Beauty Spot: The Nail Garden Main Street

Best Fitness/Wellness/Gym: Miami Lakes Athletic Club

Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and encourages people across the country to support small, local businesses.

Small businesses makeup over 99% of the nation’s businesses and are the true drivers of our economy. From the mom-and-pop shops to the family-owned restaurants that bring our neighborhoods to life, be sure to show your support and celebrate small businesses and all they do for our communities.

The Town of Miami Lakes supports our local businesses by sharing content and encouraging residents to “Shop, Eat, Enjoy Local” via the @shopmiamilakes Instagram account.
