Join us in honoring our nation’s heroes by volunteering for the Veterans Parade!
IMPORTANT: Volunteers must make themselves available for multiple required dates. We cannot accept volunteers who are only available on the day of the event.
Mandatory Dates for Volunteers
To ensure the event runs smoothly, all volunteers are required to attend the following:
- Thursday, October 2nd at 6:00 PM (45-min orientation) OR Thursday, October 16th at 6:00 PM (45-min orientation)
You must attend one of these two options. - Tuesday, October 28th at 6:00 PM (45-min final prep meeting) – MANDATORY
- Sunday, November 2nd from 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Event day) – MANDATORY
*Service hours will be provided for all dates attended.
Event Day Details – Sunday, November 2nd
- Event is outdoors and will take place rain or shine.
- A staff shirt will be provided to wear on event day.
- Please eat a healthy breakfast and stay hydrated – it will be warm!
- Wear comfortable shoes and light, airy pants or knee-length shorts.
- Sun protection is recommended (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses).
Requirements & Sign-Up Information
- Open to 11th and 12th grade students only.
- Maximum of 24 student volunteers will be accepted.
- Deadline to register: Friday, September 26th.
