Overview

The Community Center serves as one of the Town’s Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) and is integral to the Town’s response and recovery activities during and after a hazardous event as a distribution center for water, ice and some food. The purpose of this project proposal is to mitigate power interruption in the face of severe storms and inclement weather.

Details

The project includes the design, permitting, construction of a generator enclosure, and installation of a new generator to replace the existing back-up power source at this critical facility. The new generator will be properly sized during the design phase, and construction will include the complete installation of the new generator and other appurtenances per the plans and specifications.
