The Town of Miami Lakes will be hosting a free sandbag distribution event on Wednesday, September 25 from 12 PM to 6 PM at Royal Oaks Park (16500 NW 87th Avenue). Sandbags will be pre-filled, and there is a limit of ten (10) per vehicle, while supplies last.

This distribution is open to Miami Lakes residents only, and residents must show proof of residency by way of a government-issued ID or utility bill.
