On October 9, beginning at 6:00 p.m., the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes, in conjunction with the State Attorney’s Office Human Trafficking Unit, is giving a presentation on Human Sexual Trafficking at Town Hall (6601 Main Street). This event — which is free to the public — will have refreshments available for guests as they learn about the warning signs and dangers of human trafficking.

Donations of gift cards, toiletries, sweat shirts and pants will be greatly appreciated. The Human Trafficking Unit will be providing these gifts to the women who they rescue.
