Lighting Ceremony for Tennis/Pickleball Courts
The Town of Miami Lakes will be having a lighting ceremony on Thursday, June 6, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to welcome the newly installed tennis/pickleball court lighting at Miami Lakes Optimist Park.

The Town of Miami Lakes will be having a lighting ceremony on Thursday, June 6, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to welcome the newly installed tennis/pickleball court lighting at Miami Lakes Optimist Park.
This evening event will include a free short class from our tennis and pickleball provider, MGT Academy. The schedule is as follows:
- 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. — Tennis Class
- 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. — Pickleball Class
- 8:15 p.m. — Lighting Ceremony
After the lighting ceremony, the courts will be open for free play.
