Miami Lakes Public Schools Continue to Excel in 2023-2024 Grades Report

Miami Lakes Public Schools Continue to Excel in 2023-2024 Grades Report

July 29, 2024

Miami Lakes, FL – The Town of Miami Lakes is a proud home of educational excellence and is equally proud to announce that all 6 traditional public schools serving Miami Lakes have maintained their letter grades as reported by the Florida Department of Education for the 2023-2024 school year.

Congratulations to the following schools that earned an ‘A’ grade:

  • Bob Graham Education Center
  • Miami Lakes K-8 Center
  • Miami Lakes Middle School
  • Miami Lakes Educational Center
  • Barbara Goleman Senior High

Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High, located just south of Town boundaries in Hialeah but serving students from Miami Lakes, maintained its ‘B’ grade for the year.

While the grading system from the Florida Department of Education and its Bureau of Accountability Reporting is an easily understandable metric to measure the performance of a school, it is not the sole factor defining a school.

The Town of Miami Lakes provides comprehensive information on extracurricular activities, academic listings, school resources & leadership, and additional points of pride at miamilakes-fl.gov/schools.
