Miami Lakes, FL – The Miami Lakes Town Foundation, in its annual commitment to fostering community engagement and civic pride, is accepting applications for the 2025 Mini-Grant Awards. These grants are designed to support local community groups, school clubs and teams, and nonprofit organizations in carrying out projects that enrich the quality of life in the Town of Miami Lakes.

Founded in 2005, the Town Foundation is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting the values of education, literacy, youth development, beautification, and cultural enrichment throughout the community. Through its initiatives, the Foundation seeks to empower residents and organizations to take an active role in building a stronger, more connected Miami Lakes. Its mission is made possible through proceeds from the annual Miami Lakes Food and Wine Festival, the Foundation’s signature fundraising event.

The Community Mini-Grant Program provides financial assistance to projects that align with the Foundation’s mission — from educational and cultural programs to environmental and youth-oriented initiatives. This year, special consideration will be given to applications that incorporate a “kindness component,” highlighting efforts that promote compassion, inclusion, and community unity. By investing in projects that inspire goodwill and positive action, the Town Foundation continues its longstanding tradition of supporting local ideas that make Miami Lakes a more vibrant and caring community.

• Announcement of Grant Awards: December 10, 2025
• Check Presentations: December 15, 2025 – December 19, 2025
