Miami Lakes Town Foundation Opens 2026 Applications

Miami Lakes, FL – The Miami Lakes Town Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026 Community Mini-Grant Awards, continuing its commitment to supporting programs and initiatives that strengthen community engagement, civic pride, and quality of life in Miami Lakes.

The Community Mini-Grant Program provides funding opportunities for local community groups, school clubs and teams, and nonprofit organizations to bring meaningful projects and initiatives to life. Eligible projects may focus on areas such as education, literacy, youth development, beautification, environmental stewardship, cultural enrichment, and other efforts that positively impact the Miami Lakes community.

Founded in 2005, the Miami Lakes Town Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting initiatives that enrich the community and encourage residents and organizations to play an active role in making Miami Lakes an even better place to live, learn, work, and connect. The Foundation’s efforts are made possible in part through proceeds from the annual Miami Lakes Food and Wine Festival, its signature fundraising event.

Continuing the Foundation’s emphasis on kindness and community connection, special consideration will be given to applications that incorporate a “kindness component” and demonstrate efforts to promote compassion, inclusion, goodwill, and community unity.

Through the Community Mini-Grant Program, the Miami Lakes Town Foundation continues its longstanding tradition of investing in local ideas and supporting projects that make a meaningful difference in the lives of Miami Lakes residents.
