Come skate with Town of Miami Lakes and 2 instructors from the nonprofit organization SkateFree for a morning of fun!

Must bring your own equipment. Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, and roller-skates welcome! All the skating fun is free and will be on the Town’s new portable skatepark features. This event will be held on the Picnic Park East basketball court, near the Miami Lakes Youth Center. This event welcomes children and teens between the ages of 5 and 16.

Treat yourself to a relaxing day of pampering! Seniors 60+ are invited to enjoy FREE beauty and wellness services, including:

• • Chair Massages

• • Mini Facials

• • Manicures

The Town of Miami Lakes invites you to the Reindeer Run 5k on Saturday, December 13, taking place in and around the Business Park West area of town. The Reindeer Run 5k is an officially-timed festive race organized by the Town’s Veterans Committee in support of local veterans by way of a healthy morning outing.

Proceeds from this year’s run will benefit a local veteran’s family by way of the Miami Lakes Veterans Families Scholarship, as well as the American Legion Post 144.
