Miami Lakes, FL – As the summer season approaches, the Town of Miami Lakes is excited to to announce the availability of three exciting summer camps for local youth to enjoy.

Camp offerings for 2024 include:

YMCA of South Florida

Transform your summer into an unforgettable adventure with our exclusive Dance and Soccer Camps! Powered by the YMCA, we’re ready to make this summer one for the books. Whether your child is a budding dancer or an aspiring athlete, we’ve got something special in store! Our program also combats summer learning loss by reinforcing core academic skills in reading, math, and science. Includes a daily lunch and snack.

Location: Royal Oaks Park (16500 NW 87th Avenue)

Duration: Daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from June 10 – August 2

Eligibility: Welcoming Children in Grades K–5

Fees: $135/week for residents | $162/week + $50 registration fee for non-residents

Camp Wannado Summer Camp

Camp Includes: Water Play Activities, Field Trips Every Week, Video Games, Cooking Activities, Arts and Crafts, 100% Recreational and much more!

Location: Miami Lakes Optimist Park (6411 NW 162nd Street)

Duration: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from June 17 – August 2

Fees: Registration is $35 | $145/week Per child (includes field trips) | Camp Shirt: $20

S.T.E.A.M. Camp: Games & Sports

Get ready to dive into the exciting world of robotics and engineering while having a blast with games and sports. Build and enjoy thrilling rides like bumper cars and roller coasters, and create your own robotic hockey players and pinball machines. This extraordinary summer camp will nurture critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.

Location: Miami Lakes Youth Center (6075 Miami Lakes Drive)

Duration: June 17 – August 9 | Full Day: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Half Day: 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Eligibility: Ages 5–12

Fees: Full Day, Resident: $327.50* | Full Day, Non-resident: $375* | Half Day: $200*
