Town Releases 2025-26 Community Survey Results
March 12, 2026
Miami Lakes, FL – The Town of Miami Lakes has released the results of its 2025-26 Community Survey, providing valuable insight into residents’ perspectives on quality of life, Town services, and priorities for the future.
In early 2026, ETC Institute conducted a survey of Miami Lakes residents to better understand community priorities and perceptions of Town services. A total of 2,100 surveys were distributed to randomly selected households, and 311 completed responses were received. The survey was conducted through mail, phone, and online responses in both English and Spanish. The results represent a statistically valid sample, with a ±5.5% margin of error at a 95% confidence level, providing a reliable snapshot of community sentiment and valuable insight to help guide the Town’s planning, service delivery, and future investments.
Overall, residents expressed strong satisfaction with Miami Lakes. Many highlighted the Town’s safety, family-friendly atmosphere, and the beautiful tree canopy that defines the community. Residents reported high satisfaction with Miami Lakes as a safe place to live and a place to raise children, reinforcing the Town’s reputation as one of the most desirable communities in South Florida.
When asked which services the Town should emphasize most, residents pointed to three clear priorities: maintaining a safe and secure environment, protecting Miami Lakes’ iconic tree canopy, and strengthening communication between the Town and residents. These priorities will help shape the Town’s strategic priorities and investments in the years ahead.
The survey also reinforced how much residents value Miami Lakes’ strong sense of community and stable property values, which were identified as two of the Town’s greatest strengths. At the same time, many respondents expressed interest in seeing additional dining, entertainment, and retail options, reflecting a desire for continued economic vitality while preserving the character and quality of life that define Miami Lakes.
Benchmarking comparisons show that Miami Lakes continues to perform exceptionally well. The Town rated at or above national and Florida averages in 26 of the 29 service areas evaluated, including quality of life, public safety, and code compliance services.
