The Neighborhood Improvement Committee is to recommend, promote, and create projects and activities that will beautify and improve all its neighborhoods in collaborative and comprehensive manner. It shall also promote efforts that encourage a physically active, sustainable, and engaged community in Miami Lakes. The Neighborhood Improvement Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 8:00 p.m., subject to change.

The Miami Lakes Sports Hall of Fame was created to honor athletes, coaches, community members, and teams from the Town of Miami Lakes for their outstanding contribution or achievement in sport.

The Youth Activities Task Force was created to explore the development of positive activities for the Town’s youth. The committee focuses on youth oriented events. The Youth Activities Task Force meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m., subject to change.
