Town Police Offers Free Crime Prevention Analysis To Local Businesses & Residents

Miami Lakes, FL -The Town of Miami Lakes Police Division is proud to announce the addition of three certified Florida Crime Prevention Practitioners; Sergeant Sandra Machin of the Uniform Services section, Officer Juan Rodriguez of the Neighborhood Resource Unit, and Detective Myriam Nieves of General Investigations Unit.

To earn the Florida Crime Prevention Practitioner designation, a participant must successfully complete three forty-hours courses offered through Florida Crime Prevention Training Institute. Designed for crime prevention and community oriented policing officers, the designation provides officers with the skills necessary to deliver comprehensive crime prevention programs.

Residents or businesses that are interested in obtaining a crime prevention analysis of their property are encouraged to contact the Town of Miami Lakes Police Division’s office at (305) 827-4020.
