Community Bike Ride for Blasting Awareness

Miami Lakes, FL – The Town of Miami Lakes and the Blasting Advisory Board are hosting the Community Bike Ride for Blasting Awareness. This event is designed to bring awareness to the blasting damages brought by the mining activity in nearby quaries.

If you and your home are affected by the blast, you are invited to participate. The event will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021. The registration desk will open at 8:30 am. The ride will launch from Royal Oaks Park located at 16500 NW 87th Avenue at 9:00 am sharp.

The almost 6-mile loop will highlight some of the most affected areas from blasting.

Participants are kindly asked to pre-register for the event at www.TOML.eventbrite.com.

The State of Florida requires all riders under the age of 16 to wear a helmet when biking but we kindly suggest that all riders and passengers wear a helmet, regardless of age.
