Miami Lakes, FL - Mayor Michael Pizzi, Vice Mayor Manny Cid and Councilmen Tim Daubert, Tony Lama, Ceasar Mestre, Frank Mingo, and Nelson Rodriguez welcomed 100 Montaditos to the Town during its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on July 13 at its new location, 6843 Main Street.
100 Montadito’s innovative concept was founded in 2000 in Huelva, Spain. The restaurant’s popularity has exploded in the past decade with the offering of its signature “Montaditos.” The crunchy, baked-to-order, tapas-sized rolls are presented in 100 variations and filled with authentic, high-quality tapa ingredients. The sandwiches range in price from $2 to $3. The casual restaurant chain now operates 350 company-owned and franchised restaurants in Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, and the United States.
