Miami Lakes, FL - Lakes Life, the Town’s mobile app, not only keeps you in the know about all of the current happenings of the Town, but also serves as a way to help Miami Lakes plan for the future. “Pedestrian Perspective” is an initiative spearheaded by the Town’s Planning Department to ensure the improvement of transportation infrastructure.
Similar to when entering a request using Lakes Life, residents can submit their concerns regarding unsafe bike paths, incomplete sidewalks and missing bus stops. Once in the mobile app, navigate to “New Request” and scroll down until you find the “Pedestrian Perspective” category to begin your submission. Please note that in order to achieve the most accurate reporting, your “Location Settings” should be turned on when using Lakes Life.
Input submitted by app users would help Town Staff better identify where transportation infrastructure can be improved. Feedback will be recorded and used to update current and future improvement plans. It is important to note that there will be no immediate action to information received via the “Pedestrian Perspective,” however rest assured that the information is not only valuable but will help us make better decisions in the future.
