The Economic Development Committee assist in the development of a well-rounded business climate to help build the Town’s commercial tax base through the aggressive recruitment of new business. The Economic Development Committee meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

The Cultural Affairs Committee works to establish a cultural identity in the Town by developing a climate of art, music, theatre, and other recreational activities. The Cultural Affairs Committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

The Blasting Advisory Board was established to discuss and provide the Town Council with recommendations and possible solutions to ease the effects of rock mine blasting. The Blasting Advisory Board meets on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
